Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro series reportedly sold around 322,800 units in China on its first day of sales, reaching approximately 130% of the first-day sales recorded by the iPhone 17 Pro series.

Digital blogger @RDObservation, who has long tracked China’s domestic smartphone market, said the iPhone 18 Pro series sold approximately 322,800 units on its first day.

The iPhone 18 Pro accounted for about 44.5% of sales, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max accounted for the remaining 55.5%.

The iPhone 18 Pro series, which includes the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, was officially unveiled at Apple’s fall 2026 event on September 10. The two models have starting prices of 9,999 yuan and 10,999 yuan, respectively.

The iPhone 18 Pro series is Apple’s first iPhone lineup to feature the A20 Pro chip, manufactured using a 2nm process. The chip uses a packaging technology inherited from Apple’s M-series chips. Both models also feature a more compact “Swiss Island” camera module and a new 48MP main camera with a variable aperture.
