The Chinese hotpot chain Haidilao achieved a revenue of $88 million in Vietnam in 2024 (equivalent to approximately VND 2.232 trillion, based on an average exchange rate of 25,360 VND/USD), according to data disclosed by Super Hi International—the operator of Haidilao’s international markets—to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. This figure reflects a 12.6% increase compared to 2023, marking consistent revenue growth in Vietnam over three consecutive years since the company began reporting market data in 2022. Vietnam currently accounts for 10% of Haidilao’s global revenue (excluding China).

Haidilao entered the Vietnamese market in 2019 with its first restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City. Since then, the chain has expanded to 17 locations nationwide, including 10 outlets in Ho Chi Minh City, 6 in Hanoi, and one in the coastal city of Nha Trang. This expansion has significantly contributed to the $87.8 million (approximately VND 2.227 trillion) in revenue that Haidilao generated in Vietnam over the past year.
